The Belinda Hutchinson Building is well-connected to the public transport network and easily accessible. Methods include:
By Train: The closest station is Redfern station, which is a 10 minute walk away from our venue.
Redfern station is serviced by most major train lines, including T1 (Western Sydney), T2 (Glenfield, Inner-Western Sydney), T3 (Liverpool, Inner-Western Sydney), T4 (Eastern Suburbs), T8 (Airport/ Southern Sydney), and T9 (Northern Sydney). Note that Redfern does NOT have a metro station.
By Bus: The bus station University of Sydney, City Road is a 5 minute walk away from our venue. Numerous bus lines running from Central to Newtown stop here.
Players can for example catch the bus lines 423, 426, 428 and 430 at Central Station, Railway Square, Stand L, which all have a stop here.
By Private Transport: For players who desire to park on campus, note that there are limited spots scattered across campus; we hence recommend the Shepherd Street Carpark.
Parking in USyd costs $4 per hour, up to a maximum charge of $24 for 24 hours, seven days a week. Most parking, including Shepherd Street Carpark, are pre-paid services, and it is best managed using the CellOPark app. Please note that some carparks are staff-only from 8:30am to 4:30pm, including the Business School Carpark. Located near the heart of the university, the Belinda Hutchinson Building is famous for being the home of business students and its spiral stairs. With 5 stories of spacious rooms for comfortable games and large auditoriums to see our live commentary on the games by GM Ian Rogers, we will make sure players have the best playing atmosphere possible!
