*General attendance allows participants to spectate games, visit commentary delivered by GM Ian Rogers, and participate in events throughout the Australian Championships. This includes events that are not listed yet, including simuls, lectures, and collaborations with other clubs. General attendance does not cover play in title and norm events.
Notes:
- Early Bird prices are available until the 5th of November
- Standard Entry Fees apply from the 6th of November till the 24th of December
- Late Entry fees apply on and after the 25th of December
- For Concession discount, a Healthcare Card, Pensioner Concession Card or a National Assistance Card must be produced. This information is collected at registration to confirm eligibility. Juniors are not eligible for concession entry.
- FIDE title holders of Grandmaster, International Master, Women’s Grandmaster, and Women’s International Master are eligible for free entry if entered before the 24th of December.
- Players are encouraged to stay for the Prize Giving and Closing Ceremony on the 15th of January at 3:30 pm. Prize winners who do not attend the Closing Ceremony will have 30% of the prize money deducted as an administrative fee.

Automatic Qualification into the Championships include:
- Rated over 2150 ACF Standard on the December Rating list. (Please note if your rating drops below 2150 on the December list, your entry will be referred to the ACF to determine eligibility)
- The current Australian Champion
- The current or immediately previous Australian Women’s Champion
- The current State or Territory Champion

IMPORTANT:
Not a Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia and don’t have a FIDE ID? Please contact your national federation to obtain a FIDE ID before entering the event.
Refunds
- Full refunds are issued, less the processing fee of 2.5% + $0.50, if the organisers are informed within two weeks from the day of entry and it is before the 5th of December.
- Partial refunds of 50% of the paid entry fee are issued if the organisers are informed after two weeks from the day of entry, and before the 5th of December.
- No refunds are issued for entries after the 5th of December.
- If a player moves between the Australian Championships and Australian Reserves, the entry fee that applies will be based on the date of transfer and not the date of registration.

IMPORTANT:
You must complete submit the Code of Conduct Acknowledgement immediately after registration.

Failure to complete the form is not a valid reason for a refund, and your entry will not be accepted.
